Our Preschool

Henry Street Community Preschool offers a warm, welcoming environment where children and families feel truly at home. Our team of  experienced educators – many of whom have been part of Henry Street for years – bring continuity, care, and a deep understanding of early childhood development to every day. Nestled in the original school building on Henry Street in Merewether, our service has an old-world charm that adds to its inviting atmosphere. The playground is a peaceful haven, thoughtfully designed with quiet nooks and natural spaces that encourage exploration and calm.

Our philosophy is rooted in play-based learning. We believe that play is the foundation for discovery, creativity, and growth. Through hands-on experiences and meaningful activities, children are inspired to investigate, imagine, and connect with the world around them.
